
North Pacific Auctioneers Ltd. do not allow or condone owner bidding or agents for the owner to bid in order to drive prices on their item up with out the notification to the general public as required by United States and State of Alaska laws, that this practice is being done. When discovered and the proper announcements were not made the item will immediately sell at the LAST responsible bid.
While all men are created equal false bidding in order to raise the price the buyer pays is against the law.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF AUCTION
1. All bidders must register and have a bid number. Please have a State license with picture or State or Military ID ready.
2. All property being displayed for public inspection and shall be sold AS IS, WERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS and WITHOUT RECOURSE FOR ANY REFUND OR REDUCTION OF SALE PRICE. Misnomer or incorrect description shall not entitle the purchaser to any refund or reduction of the sales price. This is not a sale by sample or description. All bidders are urged to closely inspect all items offered. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
3. It is the bidder’s responsibility to determine description, age, authenticity, count and condition. No warranties or representations, expressed or implied, of any kind are made with respect to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any item in this auction. Once sold there are no refunds of any kind.
4. Upon the fall of the hammer, or when the Auctioneer says, “SOLD,” title on the property shall pass to the highest bidder. At that time it is the bidders responsibility to secure that item or items against theft or damage and the auction company is held harmless on any kind of loss.
5. Should a dispute arise between two or more bidders, the decision of the Auctioneer shall be final and absolute. It is the bidders responsibility to bid in an appropriate manner and in a way to gain the auctioneers attention. The auctioneer is not responsible for missed bids.
6. All purchases must be paid in full before leaving the auction site. Failure to do so will result in legal action. . Buyer agrees to pay any and all charges and expenses incurred, including without limitation, reasonable collection and/or attorney fees.
7. Payment shall be in CASH, VISA / MASTER CARD, CASHIERS CHECK, MONEY ORDER, and TRAVELERS CHECK. Personal checks will be accepted at the discretion of the Auction Company, provided the printed address on the check matches the address on your Alaska driver’s license, military are excepted from this, for military personal that do not have a local drivers license we require your military ID card number, your current company address and phone number. Business checks may be accepted at the discretion of the auctioneer. The Auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by check until funds are collected. Any handling, shipping, and insurance charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
8. North Pacific Auctioneers Ltd. charges $25.00 for returned checks. Any one passing a bad check will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Buyer agrees to pay any and all charges and expenses incurred, including without limitation, reasonable collection and/or attorney fees.
9. The Auctioneers, their agents, the owners of the premises and all persons for whom the Auctioneer may be acting, shall not be liable to any person for damages to their person or property while in, on, or about these premises, nor shall they be liable for hidden defects. All persons are on these premises at their own risk.
10. A premium of 13% will be applied to all property sold to be paid by the buyer and is separate of the sales price. A 3% consideration rebate will be applid to persons who pay by cash or good check.
11. The Auctioneer and or Consignors reserve the right to remove lots before, during or after the auction.
12. North Pacific Auctioneers Ltd and or their Consignors reserve the right to refuse or cancel any bids on any lots being offered for auction before, during or after the item is sold for any reason.
13. It is the buyer’s responsibility to remove merchandise purchased with out damage to property. Any damage will be corrected to the satisfaction of the property owner.
14. Unless by prior written agreement all purchases must be removed within 3 working days as described by the auction company. Any item or items not removed by the agreed upon date will incur a $10.00 a day per item storage. Storage fees must be paid in cash prior to any item being removed. If not paid and removed within ten days the item will be considered abandoned and sold at the next auction FOR STORAGE FEES.
15. Any one causing a disturbance will be asked to leave.
16. Parents are responsible for any and all damage caused by their children.
17. Announcements made by the Auctioneer take precedence over printed matter.
18. Bidding on any item indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of sale. Please return your bidding card to the clerk.
